Double ears...

Camden is still on the mend from his ear infection and Miles started running fevers and feeling lousy Friday night- he too has either and ear or sinus infection. Everybody's still a little "needy" wanting to be held and cuddled instead of played with- that's fine with me, but makes it hard to get dinner ready! Camden is about half way through his medicine, Miles not too far behind, so hopefully by this weekend everybody will be happy. This has made going back to school even harder- poor Daddy was even sick for a day. I can't wait for sunshine and warm weather to kill all those germs! The pictures below are from the interim before Miles got really sick. Somehow I think that he was actually sicker longer than Camden, but Miles has such a tolerance for things. I think he just wasn't letting us know. We went to Barns and Noble to play with the Thomas set. Thomas is becoming more popular in the house. But Elmo still rules.
We were asking them "where's Mommie?"
How does the train go?

O where, O where has our little C gone?

It has been a busy couple of weeks. School is back in session on Monday, but we have been busy! We are still adjusting to Mom being back at school/work full time. Camden is taking this especially hard. He has been grumpy, not eating and in general not himself. Mom was suspicious, so Saturday morning Camden went to the MD- and he has an ear infection! Hopefully by early next week, he will be back to his old self. His appetite is improving, but his disposition- we're still working on that.
Camden yelled at the window "Ya- da!" when he saw Greg in the driveway. Miles now makes duck, horse and elephant sounds. Both boys are still crazy about trucks! You'll see more below from our field trip. These are some cute Elmo hats sent to us from our Great-Aunt Barbara. We like them because they are sooo warm and comfortable.

It has been an unusually cold and snowy winter here in BG. We have been dying to get outside! It was still cold and snowy this weekend, so Mom and Dad decided we would try the corvette museum. We L-O-V-E-D it! It wasn't busy, so we had room to run and walk and bang on things. The museum has added a children's area, so we even got to play! It was a great break from being inside and we will definitely go again.

"This is just what I want for my birthday!"

"Can I have one in black?"
"I think that I can fit in this one now."

Not quite sure how this one got flipped, but Miles loved to look at the frames and wires.

"How can I pimp my ride?"

We haven't seen this smile in a while.

Cars and balls. What more could a Camden want?

Balls and cars. What more could a Miles want?

This is a little video of the boys playing together. It still rare instances, you will catch them working together and playing with each other and it is really cute when they do it!

static central

We have had colds this week, but things are looking up. While we still have a few sniffles, we're hoping to get to a birthday party this afternoon. Mom has been back to work for a whole week. That has been hard on everybody, but this is her last semester and that's what we keep telling ourselves. Look at all those teeth! Miles has about 4 on bottom also.
They have a play tunnel and tent that they love. As you can see it gets a little static-y in there.

"I can't do a thing with my hair!"

Gotta love this t-shirt- they both have one :)

Camden was playing ball with Eli the other day. Eli is still a little skitish when playing with them, but I think he will get better. I think that Camden knows Eli's name, every now and then he will yell "EEEEE!" (which is actually what we call him a lot of the time). Hopefully they will get to be good friends. We are currently looking for a good home for Noir, so if you know a nice single person, with no other animals or children- we have the perfect lap kitty for them. Noir needs lots of attention and would be great for a shut-in.

Whole Foods!

It has been an eventful week! For a couple of days, they only took one nap!! It went really well, but then Miles got a cold and overall they were both tired so we are back to two naps. But I feel that this is a great milestone! Miles fights and fights and fights his nap time, Camden loves, loves, loves his nap time. It is the first great compromise and I am sure won't be the last. They seem to be growing up so quickly. No more bottles, talking (a little) and starting to take whole foods by themselves, walking and running! They really aren't babies anymore.

It is so cute the way that they take little bites (and sometimes not so little bites).

Gotta love tractors.

Happy New Year! Happy Birthday Kate and Spencer!

What a great New Year! We have been enjoying Mom and Dad's time at home!!!! Fortunately Mom has one more week before she goes back to school. Dad and Mom don't start teaching until the 24, so we have a bit more time to have them all to ourselves. New Year's was quiet. We did not stay up past our normal time (are you kidding?), but got to have hors d'oeuvers with Mom and Dad for supper. We like spanikopita!! No snow this week, but it was nice and warm (67 degrees) and we spent some of our New Year's Eve outside.
We spend a lot of time in PJ's. This is us "sitting and spinnin'." We haven't got the hang of it yet, but it won't be too long.

"How do I make this thing go?"
On New Year's Day we went to another multiple's birthday party. Happy 2nd birthday to Kate and Spencer!! We finger painted and played and played with all the kids. We got kind of crabby when Mom and Dad said it was time to go home.

"I can't believe that Mom and Dad do this everyday! What fun! I can't wait until I can help in the kitchen everyday!!"

Miles has this habit of throwing out the wackiest grins sometimes. This is one of them.

"Did you see all the neat stuff Mom? I wish I had all these toys!! And can I have a sister while you're at it?"

Having fun with the Birthday boy and girl. We think our kids are soooo big until we see them with other kids.

Camden loves trucks and dunking basketballs!! Miles is running around like a pro. He loves playing with puzzles (it is about the only thing aside from food that he will hold still for).
