A Little Sunshine

What a week! We have all had the GI flu and are STILL recovering. Things have been tough around here, but are slowly getting better. Two things to make note of: Both boys used the potty for #2- now #2 has been pretty loose, so I cannot say that it was voluntary, but we'll take it! This was the perfect week for Miles to start saying "I duv u, Mama." Mama really needed it.
Camden has needed periodic breathing treatments. After the GI flu, we got a little URI that was causing him a very painful, tight cough. Miles got the cough and fever today, but I am hoping that it will be fairly short lived. Here's to more sunshine in the future and a bright tomorrow!
Some peaceful resting after a tough night.
These were taken before all the illness.
Warmer today (before it gets cold again), just watching the world go by.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Finally Valentine's Day is here! The last winter holiday! Please warmer weather be on your way. We have been trapped inside, but fortunately we have been to a couple of birthday parties and Valentine's parties. Nothing compares to some sunshine. Sleeping has been a big challenge again. We have been taking turns waking up at night with bad dreams. Miles has learned how to climb out of his crib- gulp. So his mattress has moved onto the floor. Mom and Dad are trying to make bedtime more relaxing and fun (like it was so stressful before). We are hoping that this is a phase short-lived, but it has been a couple of weeks since Mom and Dad have gotten to sleep through the night too.
Why are you laughing at me? Do I have something on my face?
Having fun at a birthday party.

Yay birthdays!
My little Prince Charming.

And King of my heart.
All of our twin friends.
They looked tired, but Miles skipped his nap. See earlier note about nightmares.

YUM!
And this is my favorite- "So like this party is SOOOO lame. Call me back in 5 minutes and say it's an emergency."

All is well

Still playing with our train set!
Well, it took a while, but we are all well again. Camden had a sinus infection and was pretty miserable, but is feeling better now. Miracles do happen, because Miles never got that sick. It has been quiet around here. Not much going on since school got started. We are really looking forward to some drier and warmer weather so that we can play outside.
Another look at our playtime...
