Memorial Day 2011

What an incredible day we had!! This memorial day we marked the beginning of summer with a trip to the air park, playing outside, eating hot dogs and watching the race!
"I love snack time!"
"What is Mom feeding us?"

Our little Charlie Chaplin- what a comic!
It is great being loved.

"Airplane!"

Practicing for.....
The Indy 500!
We didn't get to see the finish until the boys went to bed. What an ending! They really enjoyed the cars and were ready for bed (mom and dad were ready for them to go to bed). Camden didn't want his regular snuggle time with Mom. He wanted to read books until bed time. They are really growing fast.

82 weeks- neighborhood picnic

Our neighborhood picnic was Saturday and we had a BLAST!! It rained, but we were still able to get in a lot of fun and food.

Someone must have know how much we love motorized vehicles. They both were enamored by this ATV.

"This is what I NEED mama!"

"Will you push me?"

Waiting for Miles to teeter totter.
There were a lot of older kids there, so our boys were mystified by all the things that "big boys" do. Teeter, totter, climb ladders, play on the inflatable. Camden was particularly captured by a 3 1/2 year old. Not much longer... and he be doing it all!

"YUM!!"

They both like to race through the down stairs on their scooters. Greg helps out by giving them a little speed.

"Vroom!"

Back to the start!

"18 month" well child

Due to all the activities at school, we were a little late with our 18 month well child. Here are our stats:
Miles: wt: 24#3oz (23%) ht: 32" (30%) Head circ: 48"

Camden: wt 22#2 oz (6%) ht: 32" (30%) Head circ: 48"

So we're tall and skinny. They did well and napped most of the afternoon. Hopefully, we won't have to go to the doctor until their well child in October, but I wouldn't bet on it : }

Summer is here!

Lots of fun activities now that Mommy and Daddy are done with school! Mom is starting to study for state boards and we have been a bit of a distraction- but she loves it!
We don't see cooperative play that often- actually never, so we are hoping that this is the beginning.
Eli really does want to play with the boys, so this is a beautiful thing. The giggling is wonderful.

Happy Mother's Day 2011!

What a beautiful day here in KY! Mother's Day was fun and nothing makes you feel more like a Mom to boys than going to the Ag farm to see pigs, cows and horses! Greg hit the nail on the head when he made the comment, "some Moms go to the spa, some a fancy dinner, but you know nothing says, 'I love you Mom' more than tractors and trucks!" They were really sweet and good today, sleeping until 6:30 (7:00 for Camden) and taking a 3 hour nap!

The boys decided that the deck needed mowing.

I love being silly!

Rainy day fun

There have been MANY rainy days here lately. So, here's some of our rainy day fun! Up above, Camden is having a "drive-in" watching Cars on his favorite car.

Strike a pose!

Miles and Camden know many body parts.
"Nose"

"Ear"
"Tongue"
"Hair"

Time for a graham cracker snack.
A little music to chase the clouds away.
Miles had a fever starting Sunday. So he was a little blue- Camden was really sweet, he brought him his milk this morning and tried to give it to him in his crib. It shows how much they mean to each other, even though they argue and fight.
