Christmas!

Christmas has come and gone, but the fun continues here. The first couple of pictures are from the light display in BG. We went late last week. The boys really enjoyed it! Miles talks of "roo-doph" and they both love "tanta."

Christmas morning was wonderful. I am sure that it is one of the last Christmases that we will be able to all go downstairs together. We opened our stockings had a nice breakfast of french toast, then on to presents!

The train table was their big present this year. Miles squealed when he saw it. They played with it constantly yesterday and are still having a great time today. We are reading all the books that we got and in general having a great holiday week. We are so blessed to have family and friends that love us so much. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are looking forward to the new year!

All I want for Christmas

Our count down is on! I was definitely surprised at how much the boys "got" Santa Claus this year. They have been very good boys, so we will see if Santa brings them what they ask for!

We miss summer!

One of our favorite activities during the summer is to watch Daddy mow the yard. Although we like drinking "Ha toetoe" during this cold and rainy time we have been mowing indoors and lamenting summer's warmth and sun.

Making cookies

Of course we are continuing to get in the holiday spirit! We helped Mama decorate Christmas cookies (well, we mostly just ate Christmas cookies). What great time of year! Smear frosting all over things and then eat them!

Pictures with Santa

We had a wonderful time getting our picture with Santa! Not a tear was shed and they gave Santa a high five and were not a afraid at all. I was very impressed with my very big boys.

More thanksgiving

Many times, I do not have my camera with me anymore, so my phone has become more useful as a camera. It has been a wonderful birthday present and we are getting a lot of use out of it. These pictures are an assortment of shots over the past month.

Miles and Camden were playing around outside one afternoon and Mama just happened to get a few shots.

Extreme closeup!

Yes I am still cute this close up.
We have a new bread store called "Great Harvest." Mama loves their stuff! We had a blueberry scone for snack (hence the stained teeth) and colored a picture for their wall.

Our first time traveling facing frontward.
On our way to Thanksgiving, we had a long stop for lunch at Columbus IN. We found a wonderful little "gem" called TheCommons. It was free to play on and had a lovely place to eat. I definitely wouldn't mind eating there again. Probably will be one of our traditional stopping points in the future.
Camden was very brave- climbing very high.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you

Camden really has caught on to puzzles. He will play 30 minutes or more with them. It really is quite amazing considering these are for children >4-5 years old. Miles gives it a try, but he does not have the patience.
And no, we don't help. We sometimes give a point in the right direction, but he does them by himself.
Camden the amazing

Turkey Day extravaganza!

Our first trip away from home was a doozie! We went to Indiana for our family Thanksgiving Day celebration and we did great! We slept away from home, missed naps, played with our cousins and ate lots of food!

We stayed with our Aunt Shelley and Uncle Ray and our cousins Oscar, Isaac and Emmitt. We tons of fun in their basement. The train table was a hit with Camden.
Playing with our parachute. Oscar was a great older cousin! Always very patient with us.
Our first Turkey Day- we mostly ate the fruit
Time to play!
Friday at the Goodrich's
Tractors...

Cows...

Too much fun.
We got back just in time for Mama's birthday.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!!

Things are happening!

Even though it is not quite Thanksgiving, we are getting into the Holiday Spirit! We have been looking at the toy catalogs and being on our best behavior. We are getting ready for Thanksgiving and are planning a great time with our family! Mom and Dad are wrapping up their semesters, so there hasn't been much else going on. We are both using the potty, counting to ten, naming all the colors of the rainbow (including white and black)and generally showing Mom and Dad what big boys we are!
At a friend's house for a little pre-Christmas fun!
"I want this for Christmas!"
"I think I'll make Mama some food!"
