Taste of Spring

The boys love to get up an the fireplace and stand and shout and play! I thought these pictures were funny- it looks like Camden is a stand up comedian... "So, I'm asking Mom the other day... What do you call a sleeping bull??"

"A bulldozer!! Get it? A bull-dozer?"

"Um, yeah. I think I get it."

We have been having some severe weather and warmer temperatures. Just the first signs of spring. The boys are a bit "picky" when it comes to eating. They'll eat just about anything, but only under their circumstances. Some frozen blueberries were on the menu- this previously rejected food was a hit!

"Sleeping bull, Miles- a BULL DOZER...."

"Yeah I get it now!!"

"I am a great comedian"

Trains!

After a week with ear infections, then a viral infection with high fever and a rash on top of that, we are ready to all be well! It once again has been a long week and thank heavens for Nana Kathy! It is nice to have a PNP for a neighbor and a Nana. We were finally feeling better today, so we headed off to see the trains at the Depot museum. Overall it was a huge hit and something that I am sure we will do again as the boys get older.

The boys even got to see a real train drive by! Hello Thomas!

Their personalities are really coming out.

They have learned to climb on top of the fireplace mantel. I'm sure the stairs will be next.

Happy Valentine's Day!

It was a hard weekend and has started out as a challenging week! We thought we had the boys' ear infections beat, but I am afraid they came back with a vengence on Sunday. Both boys were fussy Saturday and up several times on Sunday night. Thanks to Nana Kathy, she came over to check them and I am sorry to say the ear infections were still there. So more antibiotics! We are praying that this will be the one to kill the bacteria and we can get back to normal. So because of all this, it has been a laid back Valentine's Day. Miles got a toy phone to pull around. I find it very interesting that he will talk in the handset and turn the phone dial considering he has never seen a phone like this.
Camden and his "bi-eee." That is what he call these beads. He loves them!

So you know it has been a hard week. Greg went and put Miles down for nap and before he got back to Camden, he fell asleep! Greg said that he had been playing and chipper when he went upstairs, so this must have just looked like the most perfect place to nap. Poor little guys are pretty miserable.

It has been a bit warmer, so we went out to the playhouse.
I'msure this place will be a hit this summer!

68 weeks old

It as been a bit warmer- but the snow still fell today. We are looking forward to it getting sunny! Mom decided to bake some chocolate chip cookies. "Chocolate chip cookies are awesome!"
"Hmmmmm. Needs more chocolate!"

"Chocolate chip cookies? What chocolate chip cookies?"
We did get to go for a swing around the neighborhood and to the park this weekend.

"Yay! We're outside!"

"Hi everybody!"

"Kisses from Daddy rule!"

"I love being outside!"

Camden has started talking more. He too will say, "ya, ya, ya" for "quack, quack, quack." He will neigh like a horse and he even makes "puh" sounds. "Dada!" is still the favorite.
