Chicago trip 2012

What a great trip! It was a long drive, but overall we were really well behaved and patient.
We got to see our great Aunts...

And went to Cass county fair...

Slept in when we could...

Were big helpers cleaning up the fair display...

And played with Grandma and Grandpa....

And got to hang out with our cousins....
And even got to stop in Columbus on our way home!

extra summer pictures 2012

We are back from Chicago! Our last summer trip. Now we are just waiting to see Grandma and Grandpa Farnbach. It was a good trip with a long drive-Mom is still recovering (especially since she had to work Tuesday and Wednesday and this upcoming weekend). Mom is working on getting the pictures off of her camera and as soon as she does- there will be many pictures. But until then- here are some others from our summer fun.
We love to cook!

A "robot" at BG's new Mellow mushroom.

Sometimes we get to come have lunch with Mom at work.

Playing with chalk... sometimes it doesn't just stay on the driveway.

July 4th

Due to the extreme heat, we thought it would be great for all of us if we bought a pass to the local inside playground. It has paid off!

Miles loves to spend time in the play kitchen.

Camden like to butt bounce!

Lunch at Steak and Shake- isn't he cute!

Our flag shirts. Happy fourth!

We went to a picnic with some of dad's friends- what a hot day for a BBQ.

Our first Cardinal's game

What else is there to do on a 102 degree day? Go to a Cardinal's baseball game of course. It was hot yes, but really not too bad. I must admit we didn't stay long, but the boys did not nap and with the heat, I'm afraid it wasn't agreat combination. But Dad was a trooper, walking us back to the hotel, then he went back to the ballpark to cheer on the Cardinals. They lost to the Pirates, 7-3.

Camden was a little worried with all the yelling and clapping.

View from our sets in the Redbird Club

Biggest Cardinals fans!

Outside the arch. We did not go up. Don't they all look completely thirlled?

Sunday we went to the City Museum. It was fun, but will be awesome in about 4 years. It was a little over our heads.  The entire nuseum is made up of "recycled" goods, it really was facsinating.

"Uncle" Daryl's

We were oh so thankful that Daddy is finally done with "doo doo" duty! (Jury duty). We got to leave for our vacation on time and traveled what seemed to be forever to spend the night with Mom's cousin Daryl and Jane. We were oh so lucky to get to meet Holly and Tom too! We managed not to break anything or cause too much trouble.

First shot! Mom couldn'd believe that we were all looking and smiling.

Camden's thinking, "what ahppened to his hair"

Hot time in the summertime!

Obviously, there is no doubt of how hot it is. We got a water table so that we didn't have to fill up the pool EVERY time we watned to play in the water. Truthfully, we don't play much in the water when Mom gets out the pool, we more like to pour all the water out.

Just as much end up on the floor and our shirts as does in the water table.

We also had our first trip to the public pool. After begin a little leary, we had a great time. It is a lot to watch two toddlers around all that water.

We alsospend a lot of time goofing around. Like our rain boots? We haven't had much of a opportunity to wear them.
