International festival

Some candid shots from home...

"Oh, no, no, no mama. Green is not my color."
Just cuteness!
Lounging around.

Bowling Green has a fall festival that celebrates the diversity of our community.
"Did you see that alpaca?"
"And all the balloons?"
"I think that monkey is staring at me."
"And we can shake these as much as we want to? Yay!"

zzzzzzzzzz

Mom and Dad are both really happy that we are great sleepers! They feel very fortunate needless to say. Of course there may be times we we aren't so chipper about bedtime...

Reading books in bed-

"Some day Dada, I'm going to take a picture of you sleeping and you are not allowed to get mad at me. All's fair in love and naptime!"
Yes, he always wakes up this way.

Chaney's corn maze

What a weekend to welcome fall! We headed out to Chaney's corn maze (a local dairy farm) to enjoy the cooler weather and the changing of seasons.

We started out the morning with a hearty breakfast at our farmer's market. Such big boys- we don't need a highchair or anything.
Then out to see the cows...

A cow goes "moooo!"
Then into the corn maze...
We walked.

And walked...
And walked...
Finally a check point!
And then we walked and walked and walked some more. Overall, we got a bit tired about halfway through, but Mom says we were troopers (her and Dad were troopers too).
"Are we ever going to find the way out?!"
Another checkpoint! There were 4 in all and we got to all of them!
I am not sure that we will ever graduate to doing this at night, without a map. I would be in there forever.
FINALLY FREEDOM!
"I love sandboxes!"
Cooperative construction.

We even brought a little of Chaney's home with us.

Mr. Strongman!

videos

I am having lots of trouble uploading videos to the website. So, I will be adding them sporadically as I get them to work. I know lots of you have been asking about "twin talk" http://youtu.be/VbqioNKCpoA not that I think our boys have quite that much to say. Here's our version.

Balloons and Tunes, a visit with cousin Kail

Lots of things going on in the Goodrich household. We have all settled into our "new" routine of Mom and Dad being back at work. Things are sooo much calmer without Mom in school. We have had time to read and relax in the morning...

"I think I figured out the ending."

This weekend we had a visit from our second cousin Kail. He is getting ready to welcome twins to his family, so we needed to show him the ropes.

"You have to share your Daddy, but there's lots of love to go around!"
"Learn how to share your toys."

"Lunch time is great! If you don't want to eat your broccoli, maybe your brother will. And then you can have his turkey."
It was a great visit and lots of fun to see the boys interact with someone their own age. I think that everyone had a great time and had lots of fun playing. Our boys slept until 7:00 the next morning, so I know they wore each other out.

Help each other out when things get rough.

The balloon festival was also this weekend. We're not quiet ready to stay up for the balloon glow and the noise makes us a bit nervous, but we still had fun!

"Nobody told me you had to hold onto the balloon :("

5,4,3,2,1 Blast-off!

Being a busy Mom, we do a lot more shopping via the internet and catalogs. It's great to get a little store in your home, Greg calls them my invitations to shop. What is also great is that we have a ready supply of boxes to play in! We got a large shipment the other day and the boys had a great time with the box and packing strips.
"We're going on a ride in a spaceship!"
"Maybe this can be our spacesuit."

"Blast off!"
"We're going again Mama, want to come?"
