77 weeks

Funny Guy
It is finally staying warmer and we are out taking advantage it! We walked from Lost river cave to the BG bark Park for some fun at the playground.

Camden is entranced by Dada mowing the grass.

You an see Greg in the distance. Our boys are the only ones who wish our yard was bigger and that mowing took longer.

Practicing an Easter Egg hunt with Nana Kathy and Poppa Gary was great fun, but who knew what great hats the buckets would make?

"Where's Miles and Camden?"
"Peek-a-boo!"

"Yes, I am a character."

While the boys LOVE going to the park, they rarely play on equipment. They just run and run and run.

Round and round. This went on for close to 5 minutes.

so big

The boys really are growing up so quickly! While they are good eaters, sometimes they get a little impatient waiting to eat. So, I thought it was time to introduce plates. These plates are from 'aunt' Gayle, they were a big hit! It went really well and I think I am on to something. I know it won't always work, but it is nice for it to work for a change. I was eating with them and said, "you boys are so big." Miles put down his spoon and put his arms in the air. It was really cute.
Miles now knows quite a few body parts.
Camden said 'Elmo'- "mel-mo" tonight.
When you ask them to show you down, they both squat down, then up, they stand up.

What color is this?

It has been a busy week.
We started out with Miles finishing up being sick. Seems like he has come out of it like a trooper! Our computers got a bad virus and were shut down by the cable company-that was frustrating. For the most part they are back to normal, but showing their age.
Noir never really got used to the boys. He really hasn't ever adjusted to them. He was losing weight and had to stay in the laundry room all day while the boys were up (due to his anxiety), so we put him to sleep on Monday.
Camden was feeling a bit left out, so he decided to get Miles' sickness on Wednesday, so the whole process started all over again.
BUT then came the weekend. It has bee nice and warm. So outside we went!

Fill 'er up!
Cookies!
Beep, Beep Mama!

This is the second time we did this. The first time was perfect.

End of a run

It is probably my fault. I was talking to a friend, commenting on how nice it has been that the boys have been well. Miles started running a fever the next day. So far, that's it. We are sitting holding our breath waiting to see what it may blossom into. Poor Miles has a sore throat today with his fever, but overall things have been ok. Thank goodness for Tylenol and Ibuprofen. These are some candid shots from the last couple of weeks.
I have been meaning to put their bouncey's away, but they have rediscovered them. We often wonder do they remember them? Or is it just something novel to play with?
Just chillin'
They were being real stinkers at breakfast the other morning, so I had to stir it up a bit to get them to eat. I decided to get out their little table. It went over really well! They both sat there and ate their yogurt and cheerios. I still like to think of them as babies, but they really are becoming big boys.

They are both big lap boys. They will bring over toys or books and just flop on down- you had better be ready. This is still our favorite, "Animal Friends and Neighbors."

All of the flowers are in bloom around our house and Greg and I have been trying to teach the boys to sniff them. Sometimes Miles gets a little a confused and bites them instead.

Two cuties!

An update on our progress:

Camden says things like- "Keee-teee," (kitty) "Brrr" (bear), "bow, wow" and is a puzzle and shape sorter pro!

Miles- he calls his lovey "ba," " bow, wow" and is getting better and better at puzzles. It is also really cute, he takes bites of food and says "mmmm."

Spring Break

Spring Break is over. It was quick. It was busy, but there was time for some fun! The boys are learning how to climb up and down the stairs. Miles is quickest down the stairs, Camden up.

"Come on Miles!"

Miles likes to look around at the light and what may be left on the stairs.

"Here I come!"
There are so many parks in town. We have had a chance to visit a few- I can't wait to see more this summer!

"What is the square root of 214...."

"8 weeks until summer break!"

expressions of self

I know that as time goes by, my boys will not only look different, but act different. They may be twins, but in our house that is just terminology for brothers born on the same day.

Camden calmly works on his puzzles. I am amazed that he will not mix colors. P.S. He can finish the puzzle, Miles chose about this time to walk across it.

Miles is a mover. He can go and go and go and go and go and go and go.

roaring good time

Finally, spring break is here! I'd like to say that we are all going to be laying around the house, but I'm afraid that just wouldn't be true. I am just about half way through with my clinical hours, so I will be working at the clinic during break. Greg and the boys will be enjoying their time at home, but overall, we will just be lying low, trying to get things done.
The boys are both learning to play together and to fight each other. Hopefully the previous will be more often than the latter. This is a video I caught of them playing hide and seek in the curtains. They were really having fun that morning.
