Zoo!

We decided that we needed a little family outing. The Nashville zoo sounded perfect, especially with all the mild summer weather we have been having. It also is pretty easy for mom to find a place to stay put and watch the baby and take it easy. This big kid needed a nap as much as his sister. 

One week

One week old. She is slowly, but surely winning everyone over. She now weighs 6#12oz and she lost her umbilical cord.attack of the killer pink bunnies !

Day 2

Now see here, I'm the boss. 

Miss Aurora!

We welcomed Aurora Skye June 17 at 6:06 p.m. 

She was born via csection and weighed 6 pounds and 9 ounces and was 19.5 inches. 

We are all doing great! Just a little bit tired. 

36 and 1/2 weeks

Thanks to my BFF Ms. Mandy for a great "sprinkle"(aka shower for second time moms). And a pretty picture of my very pregnant belly. Got the bags mostly packed, menus with grocery lists and the nursery mostly done. Just waiting for the best part!
