Happy Thanksgiving!

As always, what a difference a year makes- us last Thanksgiving...

And us this year! Lots of fun at the Kovar's-

Both boys had a great day. Lots of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, spinach artichoke dip (that was a big hit), rolls and pumpkin cake! Miles walked and walked and Camden played and played with his toys. We got to give Nick and Kristin a little taste of what life might be like in a year and a half- hope we didn't scare them :)

What we're up to

Things are getting better. Although both boys still have runny noses, they are feeling well and back to their old chipper selves.
Camden can clap and can say that the sheep goes "ba" and a horse "neighs." He has 3 teeth on top and 2 on bottom. The top teeth are exposed, but they are taking their time coming fully in. Poor guy still can't eat toast. He is steadily cruising, but not walking on his own. He can throw and catch a rolling ball.
Miles will wave "bye-bye" and we're pretty sure he knows who Ma-ma and Da-da are. He is starting to point at different things in books (in particularly Elmo). He walks like a champion.
Both boys prefer straws over their sippy, but will take both. We are working on getting rid of bottles, but being sick set us back a bit. I am worried about their fluid consumption. Neither boy drinks enough and I am not sure how we are going to get them to drink more without their bottles. Maybe it is something we can tackle over Christmas break. Both boys give "high fives."
Both boys will nod their head yes:

Only Miles shakes his head "no."

They both love balls, elmo, animals and their Ma-ma and Da-da!

On the mend

What a week! Sunday Miles started running a fever. Of course this means that Camden soon would be too. Miles ran a fever for 2 days, then Camden, then they got really sick! We saw the MD on Thursday and he said they both have sinus infections.
The days have been long and tiring and the nights short and tiring, but we appear to be on the mend now. Hopefully by Sunday we will be back to our oldselves.

Daddy or Mommy reads to us every afternoon from "Animal Friends and Neighbors." We are even starting to make some animal sounds!

The night before Halloween we went to the Mall to trick-or-treat and got Wendy's! SOOOOO many kids were there. It was impressive.

We're hoping to get some more pictures with our pumpkins- but we were sooo tired that night.
