Christmas 2012!

The whirlwind of Christmas is now over :( Always seems to be such a fast day. Miles was up several times Christmas Eve, not because he was excited, but he wanted some to wipe his nose! He has had the sniffles, but nothing serious. Hopefully he will be over it before New Year's (and not passing it to his brother would be nice). We spent the afternoon with our "Nana" and "Poppa" Baker, it was nice not to have to cook and just enjoy the day- and that we did!

Santa 2012

Our trip to Santa was more than successful! They boys were smiling and loving it the whole time. Jumped right up and told him what they wanted, then off we went. I must give Daddy the credit on keeping Santa not scary. He works very hard to make Santa seem friendly and welcoming. We hope everyone had a great day!

Opryland 2012

We went to Opryland last week to take in the Christmas lights and beautiful gardens.

Loved the Delta River Tour. 

The pedal cars are nice to look at, but all of them were broken. Made me glad I had not spent $400 on one.

Christmas mood

We are definitely in the Christmas mood! Lots of talk about Santa, doing Christmas crafts and helping out with cookies. Their energy is boundless.

They did really well making cookies, not a Kiss was eaten. Decorating cookies with our friends A and B. 

Saturdays without Mom

There are lots of Saturdays where the boys and Daddy are on their own. This particular Saturday, I was home sick in bed! There was a train show in town, so the boys got to see Thomas up close.

And cookie monster came to the library. Greg said that went over about as well as the Easter bunny.

Daddy also gets creative with his snacks. He really is a kid at heart.
